APPEAL

The Final Goal of human life is Salvation. The "Bhakthi Cult" was extensively propagated into the human routine by the Musical Trinity Viz., Thyagaraja, Dikshitar and Shyama Sastri, besides Anamacharya, Purandara Das and Rama Dasu, the Singing Saints of South India. Besides " Bhakthi ", the golden treasure of our musical heritage was also melodiously blended into their masterly compositions. As a Result, they elevated the contemporary society to the highest peak of human values, flavored with ethical excellence, and aesthetic sublimity. But, the trend of the modern age is so disappointing, that material achievements are occupying prominent place in the day to day life. Spiritual pursuits are on decline, as result of which, the ethical equilibrium is getting disturbed and thereby the social welfare is at stake. Unless something is done to renovate our traditional values, through Fine Arts, like Music, and Dance, I am afraid soon we lose our claim over the Glorious Past. Having the above objective profoundly fixed up in my mind, province prompted the "Nadasudha Tarangini Trust" as the medium to achieve the goal of my life. It was inaugurated by my revered guru PADMABHUSHAN, SANGEETHA KALANIDHI, DR. SRIPADA PINAKAPANI M.D., on 22nd March 1991. This was registered on 26th July, 1991 (No.682/91) having Sri Challapalli Rama Rao and Sri Perala Lakshmana Rao as trustees.

So far under the auspices of the NADASUDHA TARANGINI TRUST two volumes of " ANNAMAYYA PADA SOURABHAM " consisting of thirty compositions each, with notation have been published. Publication of these works was partly funded by Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams, A.P and Sri Annamacharya Project of North America (SAPNA). Further three audio cassettes were also realeased with the sponsorship of Smt. Sri Devi Ranga Raj (Chicago, USA) and Smt. Jyothsna Potaraju and Sri Sreedhar Potaraju (Potomac, USA). I also wish to bring out the compositions of Sadguru Sri Thyagaraja in a similar fashion.

In the present setup it costs about Rs. 50,000 to bring out one audio cassette of good quality recording and elegant getup. It is difficult for one person or an institution to execute this sacred project single handed, unaided. Therefore I call upon the music lovers, ALL OVER THE GLOBE, to contribute generously towards this divine goal. Any amount is accepted with thousandfold thanks. Individual or joint contributions of Six hundred to Seven hundred US dollars will be acknowledged by printing the name(s) of sponsorer(s) on the inlay card of the cassette sponsored by them. Donations may be made over in nay convenient form to NADASUDHA TARANGINI TRUST and I assure you , every single cent, will be spent, with utmost care and devotion towards the fulfillment of the aims and objectives of NADASUDHA TARANGINI TRUST.
